Scheduling Coordinator Position

Ortho South is looking to hire a world class, Scheduling Coordinator. This is a full-time position and applicants must be able to work 6:45am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, Hourly pay based on experience $15-$20 with potential for incentive pay. About the Job

Our Representatives (Scheduling Coordinators) are customer service superheroes who serve as a practice concierge in greeting families as well as scheduling gurus who help patients keep appointments on the books. Are you friendly, eager, yet calm. Are you able to multi-task and keep on track? Do you keep a smile on your face and in your voice? Do you enjoy celebrating with patients and families? Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and families into the practice.
  • Schedule appointments for patients.
  • Answer a multi-line phone with grace and efficiency.
  • Manage mailings with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage communications to patients and dentists.
  • The ability to complete all tasks and duties assigned to front office personnel.
  • Actively participate as a contributing member of the office staff team to achieve patient satisfaction and office production goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 to 5 years experience in Dental or Orthodontic front office required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
  • Computer literate a must (Ortho2 experience is a plus).
  • Experience with Orthodontics a plus.
  • Experience in customer service desired.

This is a full-time position only and applicants must be able to work 6:45am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Orthodontic Assistant Responsibilities:

• Be the best part of the patient’s day.

• Maintaining accurate records .

• Ensure proper sterilization.

• Taking X-rays, photographs and 3D scans.

• Removing and replacing orthodontic arch wires, coil springs, appliances, and elastic bands.

• Educating patients and parents.

• Placing and removing orthodontic brackets

• Placing and removing attachments for Invisalign.
