Hey there! My name is Brandon, and being an orthodontist is one of the great joys of my life. I am passionate about helping people and positively impacting their lives. I am a people person, and my goal is to speak life and love to every person I encounter. I want to do everything in my power to make the orthodontic journey fulfilling and memorable for everyone that walks through our doors. I look forward to the opportunity to help you achieve the smile that you love.
I was born and raised in Birmingham and moved to Houston in my teens. After graduating from high school in Houston, I returned to Birmingham and graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with the desire to pursue orthodontics.
My mother worked for an orthodontist, and I visited her one day. I immediately fell in love with the before and after photos of orthodontic patients that were hung on the wall. From that point on, I wanted to be an orthodontist. It was an amazing 12-year journey. I finally opened Ortho South in 1999 with the help of my wife and mother.
I have been very happily married to Tricia since 1990. We have six incredible children: Emma, Britton, Brayden, Ella, Brolin, and Eviana. We are members of the Church of the Highlands (Riverchase). I love hiking, ice climbing, kayaking, snowboarding, and snow skiing. I love anything with two wheels, including mountain and road biking and dirt and street biking. Let's go biking y'all! :)

As an orthodontist, I've always been passionate about using my skills to serve others. This passion has led me on mission trips around the world, teaching vital dental skills like tooth extraction. These experiences aren't just about providing care, but about empowering local communities to sustain and improve their dental health long after we've gone.

In Nepal, our team's mission was to train local pastors and leaders in essential dental care, focusing on tooth extraction in a region desperately needing these services. This trip was a remarkable journey of cultural exchange, skill sharing, and personal growth, all underpinned by a deep commitment to serving others in Christ's love. My time in Haiti was wonderful and transformative. Working with organizations like Altar84 and The Haiti Collective, we've provided medical, vision, and dental care to about 1,500 vulnerable or orphaned children. Each visit to Haiti is a profound reminder of the joy and resilience of the human spirit, and a chance to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
