Let’s take a trip down memory lane! Okay, so picture this: way back in the day, Ortho South kicked off its journey in 1999. As Dr. Boggan shares his story in the early days of his amazement in the transformative power of orthodontics, he shares that his mother worked for an orthodontist and he visited her one day, “I immediately fell in love with the before and after photos of orthodontic patients that were hung on the wall. From that point on, I wanted to be an orthodontist. It was an amazing 12-year journey. I finally opened Ortho South in 1999 with the help of my wife and mother.” 

Dr. Boggan began with one big dream in mind – to give everyone the smile they've always dreamed of. Dr. Boggan had this crazy cool vision of making orthodontic care not just about straightening teeth but about boosting confidence and spreading joy, and boy, did he deliver!

Fast forward through the years, and Ortho South has achieved some seriously cool milestones. We're serving the communities of Pelham and Calera with joy. In 2007, we even took a giant leap by constructing our very own building in Pelham! From there, our journey has been nothing short of amazing. We're talking about transforming smiles left and right, breaking new ground with snazzy techniques like traditional braces and the game-changing Invisalign. Becoming the go-to orthodontic experts in Alabama has been an incredible achievement for us – and it's all thanks to YOU! With your trust and support, we've had the privilege of creating over 10,000 HAPPY smilers.
